After nearly a year the council have finally agreed to extra funding for Ryde skatepark to be re-surfaced ! Spoke to the site workers the other day and they say it will be concrete with new drain covers which have much smaller holes in...... no more dead stopping on skateboards.
Also the ramps will not sink into the ground like they did on the old surface of Tarmac !!!
Could all be completed with ramps in place by the end of next month, fingers crossed.
