Well howdy all you randommotion fans, it seems the weather has behaved itself for long enough for some action to go down ! yep you heard it right. Sunday saw the first of the years pilgramages to a location on the island...... Newport, four ramps in a tennis court but the Islands first and longest running skatepark, its just simple and..... fun. Sometimes its just good to get back to basics.
The group consisted of Marvin, Ian, Hallie, Luke, Charlie n me and Matt meetin in Ryde at 10am for the 12 mile ride to Newport. Group rides from place to place are always a treat just because of the danger of death from being run over by angry speeding drivers !!! The fact that BMXers are weaving all over the road is besides the point. Hmmmm.
Anyhow, the ride went quick and an excited session started up with the boys throwin themselves all over the place.Mat not feeling it...

And some news on Ryde skatepark, Guido whos buildin it has had some guys sort out an animation of the finished product, should look sweet when its done just got some painting and the surface to sort out. Me and the lads will be down there on Saturday the 28th of feb to do some painting of the frame work so come on down from 10am and paint !
Some fundraising is in order so watch this space for event news..... April will see some sea jumping going down at Ryde harbour bring your spare change !
